I finally recienved my fear inoculum cd from Alex Grey signed by Alex haven't received my toolarmy kkit though, sad but true. anyone receive their order from the second release of the album??? When I ordered it said they would be shipping at the end of September but I haven't received any notifications yet. Not yet only an email message stating that they are a "small company with a small staff that is processing orders around the clock in effort to get them out". Wondering if I'll ever see it I wonder why they left out the segues. They're obviously an important part of the album.
Including the fact that "Litanie Contre La Peur" Is a palindrome. It plays exactly the same played in reverse. And the segues in general tie the album nicely together, I feel. THIS NEW ALBUM MADE ME A TOOL FAN AND I CANNOT STOP SINGING THE SONGS TO MYSELF OR IS THE ONLY THING I PUT ON SINCE AUGUST. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!! I HAVE TO TELL YOU MY OPINION, THIS NEW ALBUM IS THERE BEST YET. I JUST RECENTLY WENT THRU THERE CATALOG AND NOT HEARING MUCH OF THE PRIOR, THEI ALBUM RULES!!! PNEUMA IS BEAUTIFUL. DECENDING IS A CLASSIC WHICH COULD EASILY BE PUT ON CLASSIC ROCK RADIO. THERE IS NOBODY LIKE THEM. I WISH I WOULD HAVE FOUND THEM EARLIER. This album is AMAZING! Perfect timing. Love it! I recently joined too and didn't hear a word until one day I received an email about my swag. Yeah same here I tried joining In May paid money through this site. We reapplied in June. You get a random email after joining, try going back and searching through your email that's what I had to do. Descending could go down as TOOLs greatest song! I guess 7empest could too and Pneuma! Damn this album is a masterpiece! That's what I've been saying. Shattered all of my expectations, picked the pieces up, glued them back together, and then shattered them again. But would love to know where I can get my hands on a CD? to add to my collection Down here in South Australia??
This album is incredible Sooo great that I can't buy the physical CD anywhere in New Zealand Not upset though, just blown away! Got blown all the way to this site and finally subscribed I paid the money purely for presales to the live show when they inevitably bring the tour to NZ Thanks for everything Tool :P Love you all! Including whoever is reading this right nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnow! That is outrageous. We waited a lifetime for Tool to release this album only for them to release a very small amount. And the people that managed to get their hands on the album put them up for sale probably don't know or care about Tool. They are just in it for the money. But it is almost impossible for the band to screen people as to who is sincere and who's not. It would be a form of discrimination IF they did the screening. I wanted the album in a CD format because I could't think of better way to hear ANY album then driving in you're car with undivided attention solely on the music.
Now I have to wait to see if the band decides to release more CD's or if there going to have to think of a creative way to put out the CD. There is just no way around it. We waited a long time for this album maybe I have no life but it angers me down to the core because its almost as though you can't get you're hands on it. RUSH has existed as long as I have been alive and no longer will be making music together. I saw them 7 times That is disheartening to me. They were a VERY special band. Tool is a very special band too and when a band makes high-quality music you never want the band to end. Bands like Tool DON"T exist anymore I just wish they had put out another album. sorry its just how I feel. We are on borrowed time with Tool. After they disband there will be nothing left Dude, go on discogs. This album was well worth the wait.
And the guitar work on 7empest is unbelievable!!! Great job boys! I discovered Tool in in Phoenix, so some could say I'm late to the game, but I think 23 years of dedication is good enough. There's not band like Tool. There are many great bands, but there's only one Tool! See you guys in Raleigh, NC. Only took about 15 minutes to sell that place out! After a washout in Rockingham, NC at the Epicenter Festival, seems about on par. I have been a tool fan since I saw them in at lollapalooza. Every album tool has released has been fucking awesome.
